Essex Hockey are looking for umpires for the Essex Academy Assessment Day on 10th January 2010. It is held at Redbridge Sports Centre, and is part of the process for selecting players to represent the county in various competitions.

The day is divided into 4 sessions: 9.30am to 11.30am, 11.30am to 1.30pm,1.30pm to 3.30pm and 3.30pm to 5 30pm. It is a good opportunity for levelone candidatesto practice outside of the pressure of league hockey!

There might also be some coaching available which is really useful, particularly if you are looking to get a practical assessment soon.
