Match fees are £8 per week for adults and £5 for those Under 18, who are students in full time education or unemployed. Season 2009/2010 We had a good number of promising Under 13 girls coming through and therefore added a 3rd Xi for this season. This meant we had teams in Division 1, 3 and 4. However, to match last season's results would be a hard task. However we may well have done so as our 2nd team won division 3 with three games in hand and both the 1st and 3rd XI managed a very creditable 3rd in Division 1 and 4 respectively. Results 1st XI: Played 22 won 14 drawn 2 lost 6 goals for 52 goals against 24 goal difference 28 points 44 3rd Div 1
2nd XI: Played 20 won 19 drawn 1 lost 0 goals for 77 goals against 11 goal difference 66 points 58 Winners Div 3 3rd XI:Played 17 won 9 drawn 1 lost 7 goals for 30 goals against 20 goal difference 10 points 28 3rd Div 4 In addition, the 2nd XI won the Essex Trophy competition for the second season running. Goalscorers Leanne 44 (8 non league - 6 in Trophy) Sarah C 16 Shauna 16 (1 non league -in Trophy) Ashlie 15 Beckie 14 Sophie 11 Anna 10 Flic 6 Katy 6 Sarah H 6 (1 non league -in Trophy) Danielle 5 Tracy 5 (1 non league) Ali H 4 Caitlin 2 Wendy 2 On 1 goal: Ali B, Debbie, Elise, Emily G, Fliss, Georgina, Grace, Hannah M and Ronnie. In addition, for the second season running, not only did Leanne Coutts score more goals in her Division than anyone else, but she also scored more goals than any other in any of the Essex leagues. Pretty impressive for someone not yet 17. Season 2008/2009 We were joined last season by what was the Rochford Casuals ladies team who played in Division 2 and, with a few recruits, formed a new 1st XI. Both teams had a very successful season and won promotion. Their results were:
Ist XI: Played 20 Won 15 Drawn 3 Lost 2 Goals for 74 Goals against 18 Goal diff 56 Points 48
2nd XI: Played 18 Won 15 Drawn 2 Lost 1 Goals for 94 Goals against 6 Goal diff 88 Points 47 In addition Leanne Coutts from the 2nd XI was the highest goal scorer in all the Essex ladies leagues with 48 official goals to her name, although she has actually scored 52, plus 5 in the Essex Trophy competition, which the 2nd XI won, beating 4 highly placed teams from Division 3 in the process. Season 2007/2008 Having formed our first ladies team in 2007/2008 from girls who primarily came through our youth hockey set up, we ended up with a team whose oldest player at the start of the season was only 16, playing in the Essex adult ladies league Division 4. We ended up 4th in the league, not a bad result for such a young and inexperienced, but very enthusiastic and competitive group of youngsters. The results were Ist XI: Played 24 Won 16 Drawn 2 Lost 6 Goals for 69 Goals against 19 Goal diff 50 Points 50 Simon Austin
